Kiara Kilbey

BCAK - (Registered Kinesiologist) BSc Honours Kinesiology

Kiara completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. During her time in university, Kiara was a member and co-captain of the UVic Vikes varsity women’s soccer team, where she was an Academic and Athletic All-Canadian. Being a high-level athlete sparked her interest in pursuing a career related to sport, performance, and human movement. Kiara is currently working as a practicing kinesiologist, using an exercise-based approach to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery. She is passionate about motivating all patients to reach their therapy and fitness goals and get excited about living a healthy, active lifestyle.
Kiara has stayed connected to the soccer world. Kiara remains involved with the Vikes varsity women’s soccer program as the Senior Strength & Conditioning Team Lead. She is currently studying to receive her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) qualification. Additionally, she is working as an Assistant Coach for the U17/18 Vancouver Island Wave girls’ soccer program.
Born and raised in Victoria, Kiara is very much an island gal and spends most of her free time outdoors hiking, paddle boarding, or enjoying the many incredible beaches with friends, family, and her golden retriever. Despite her varsity soccer days being behind her, Kiara still plays soccer in the island’s Premier league and loves to stay active, either running, weightlifting, or kicking the ball around.
